Challenge
Hike had proven a better way to make custom insoles, but in the process became something much bigger: infrastructure for device-based care.
Ahead of announcing $22.5 million in funding, it needed a brand and launch to explain the full system without looking like an insole company or another boring healthcare software tool.
Insight
Device-based care fails at both ends.
A device insurance will not approve never reaches a patient. Approved devices takes six weeks to manufacture and don’t solve patient problems.
Hike owns the entire path, from referral and documentation through clinical care and in-house fabrication. The story needed to present one connected system.
Solution
We built the brand around an organizing idea: one system from referral to dispense.
A visual system rooted in human movement brings warmth and momentum to a clinical category.
We carried it through the website, launch film, and broader brand system, uniting Hike Intelligence, Hike Clinical, and Hike Lab under one clear story.
Results
Hike launched its brand and website alongside the announcement of $22.5 million in seed and Series A funding. The launch post was a smash. The new system clarifies Hike’s position: AI to handle approvals, clinical tools that power the patient visit, and an in-house lab that delivers custom devices in days.
Hike entered its next chapter positioned as infrastructure for device-based care.
