Greylock was announcing Fund 18, a new $1.5 billion early-stage venture fund. The story was never about the size of the fund. It was about the founders who begin long before anyone else believes. Great companies rarely look inevitable at the start. They begin as rough prototypes, failed experiments, late nights, and conviction without validation. Greylock has spent more than sixty years backing those moments, becoming the first believer behind companies like Airbnb, Facebook, and Palo Alto Networks.
We built the launch film around that tension. A cinematic collage of archival footage, prototype imagery, documentary-inspired visuals, and restrained typography captures the imperfect reality of building something new. The edit moves between past and present, reminding founders that every enduring company once looked uncertain. The result positions Greylock not as capital, but as a long-term partner for the people determined to build what does not exist yet.
